Holiday Music News 2014

Hello music friends!  Been a while since I've posted on this blog. Kinda just gettin the hang of it.  It's been a busy year trying to create new opportunities to perform and record new music. Thankfully I've been able to do both. 

With the Holidays fast approaching, I've managed to get substantial airplay on many internet radio stations around the world.  Fan response has been overwhelming, both to my Rock music creations and the Holiday music as well.  Expected good news coming from Pandora to stream my Christmas CD all year long!  I'm so glad that they keep all their Holiday music channels continuously streaming all year long!

The biggest news is with a just signed agreement with Baker & Taylor to distribute and make available my Christmas CD: "Lights, Love & Laughter" - to all the big box retailers and smaller shops around the world!

Baker & Taylor is the WORLDS LARGEST distributor of all kinds of media and entertainment material.  Just a fantastic way to finish out the year and gear up for 2015!


Been also creating new, non-Holiday music with keyboard wizard Jeff Lantz.  Results have far exceeded than what I expected.  Working on 3 new titles which I will release in early 2015, to be released on a new King & The Kongz CD, which will contain 2 previously released songs: "Here For The Job" & "Bang A Gong".

Upcoming News!

First off, Happy New Year to everyone! This year, I will be working on a new rock release I've already recorded a couple of songs and in the process of writing and recording some new ones. There will be a couple of cover renditions and fun originals. More details to come. I will be releasing my latest single, "Bang A Gong (T-Rex)" in the next couple of weeks. Will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com and other music sites.

Welcome!

Karel King - Christmas CD
"Lights, Love & Laughter"

Hello everyone! Welcome to my music blog. I am a new recording artist from Chicago and I've recently released my first Christmas CD. Now available on iTunes and Amazon as well as other download sites. 


I will be performing at several malls in the Chicagoland area throughout December. I will post my schedule as it becomes available. So far, I am scheduled to perform at Gurnee Mills, Spring Hill Mall, Lewis Joliet Mall, Northfield Square in Bourbonnais and more to come.


In addition to my Christmas music, I also have recorded several rock singles also can be found on iTunes and Amazon. Soon to come, is my latest release of 'Bang A Gong', originally done by T-Rex. I've added some groovy new beats and other musical treats to the song to give it a complete facelift. I am in the process of choosing songs for my first rock album.
